You know the one thing I’ve realized since being stuck inside my house since March? My house needs to be more organized.
You’d think that being stuck at home, I’d have all the time in the world to organize it right? Well, to be honest, it’s more of a mess than ever before.
You see, now I’ve got my kids, husband and our pets constantly stuck inside too. AND I am trying to work, be a mom, wife and and stay sane. So, it just constantly looks like a hurricane rolled through.
And now, Netflix’s newest show has reminded me that I need to get my shi* together and organize my house because my sanity sort of depends on it.
The new home organizing show on Netflix is called Get Organized With The Home Edit. It is about a team of women that teach people how to organize their homes using fancy containers and organizing by color, by type of item or in sections that make sense.
The team teaches everyday clients to edit, categorize and contain their clutter to create stunning spaces.
Basically, it’s the organization method I’ve wanted my entire life.
You see, I LOVE color (especially mint) but I really love rainbows of color. And this organization method, is a dream come true.
Not only does it look visually appealing, but it makes sense. Like, what IF you are looking for a RED shirt to wear to a Football game, then you just go to your closet in the red section and BAM it’s there.
Everything has a place and it’s visually appealing to people like me that have a bit of OCD.
Honestly, I have no idea why I haven’t thought it before now.
Needless to say, I am OBSESSED with this show and just trying to figure out how I can make some extra money for those awesome containers they use in the show! Ahhhh!
Oh and can we just take a moment to appreciate this book shelf? Holy moly I need it in my life!
You can watch the first season of Get Organized With The Home Edit on Netflix now. You can also check out the trailer below. Happy organizing!
