A New Rom-Com Teaser Trailer Just Dropped, And It Has Fans More Confused Than Ever

I love a good Rom-Com, But it really seems like they are getting harder and harder to find.

Well, there is a new Rom-Com on the horizon, and I couldn’t be more excited — in theory.

The teaser trailer for Anyone But You just dropped, and it’s leaving fans with questions — namely, what exactly is this flick about?

I mean, I get it. It’s a teaser trailer. It’s not supposed to give away all the details.

BUT, can we at least get some sort of cohesive plot to look forward to?

Anyone But You is a new Rom-Com set to hit theaters in December, and it stars Sydney Sweeney and Glen Powell.

Who?? You’ve heard those names before, but can’t quite place them?

You know Sydney Sweeney from Euphoria and White Lotus, and Glen Powell was in Top Gun: Maverick.

Sydney and Glen are coming together to star in Anyone But You, a story about two people who pretty much hate each other, but are pretending to be a couple.

I know. I know. We’ve seen this storyline a hundred times.

But, maybe this one will be different?

In the edgy comedy Anyone But You, Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold — until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.

As far as the teaser trailer goes, we don’t get a whole lot of information — any information, really.

I can already pretty much tell you how it’s going to end, but what’s the original plot twist here? Why do they hate each other?
