This Nursing Home Administrator Went Above and Beyond To Help Residents Have a Great Thanksgiving
I think restrictions on nursing homes have let up a bit in most places, but I know a lot still have strict rules due to Covid.
This leaves many people feeling even more alone than usual, especially during the holidays.
My day was made when I saw a TikTok video of a nursing home administrator having fun with residents, like my faith in humanity was restored!
Kip Anthony, who goes by the TikTok user name @nursinghomeadministrator, had posted an amazing video that showed what he came up with to have fun with the residents.
They set up a bunch of fake Christmas trees in the facility and made it a hunting ground to hunt a giant turkey.
Guess who was the giant turkey? Yep, Kip Anthony!
He had dressed up in a turkey costume, and the residents were armed with nerf guns to hunt with.
Ducking and gobbling his way through the Christmas trees, while they attempted to hit him with the nerf bullets.
It looked like the nursing home residents had so much fun with this game and I kind of what to do this at our next Thanksgiving gathering!
I know that when my dad was in a rehab facility before he passed away, this would have completely made his day!
