Rudolph was always my favorite reindeer. While the other reindeer always seemed a bit snooty (they wouldn’t let him play their games, c’mon!) Rudolph used his bright red nose to guide Santa through fog and make sure all kids get presents. What an amazing guy! That’s why instead of making any ol’ boring reindeer candle, I wanted to give you one to honor Rudy. Not only will this Rudolph candle look great on your own mantle, but imagine the happy looks on your coworkers, friends, and teachers faces when you give one to them.
And speaking of teacher gifts, here’s the perfect tag for the teacher in your life:
This cute tag would look so great hanging from your gifts this year. It’s especially great for teachers or anyone else who has taken that extra time to make your year great. Happy Holidays!
What You Need To Make A Rudolph Candle:
- 1 Brown Candle (I used a banana bread candle, but I think a Gingerbread scent would be a great festive seasonal scent!)
- 1 red pom pom
- 2 brown pipe cleaners
- 2 googly eyes
- hot glue
How To Make A Rudolph Candle:
Slightly bend one end of the brown pipe cleaner. This will be where you attach it to your candle.
Cut the pipe cleaner in about thirds. Lay your bent piece of pipe cleaner on top of one of the other pieces of pipe cleaner. Twist the pipe cleaner around. Secure with a dab of glue.
Repeat this process for both pieces of antlers.
Glue your red pom pom on the candle.
Glue the googly eyes above the nose.
Attach the finished antlers to either side of the candle with a hot glue gun and trim until they look right to you.
