LEGO is Actually Releasing A ‘Hocus Pocus’ LEGO Set and It Is Glorious
Gather round sisters!!
So, remember back in 2020 when we told you all about a concept idea for a Hocus Pocus LEGO set?
At the time, it was just a concept and was designed by Amber Veyt.
Well, people have been buzzing about it ever since. So much in fact, LEGO is turning it into an actual LEGO set. OMG!!
In case you didn’t know, fans can submit LEGO set designs to the LEGO Ideas website.
If a design gets enough votes, it moves to stage 2 the review stage. Then from there it will go to the development phase and eventually become a real life LEGO set we can buy!
Amber’s set received 10,000 votes and has moved to the final phase.
The LEGO Review Board decided to move forward with Hocus Pocus, The Sanderson Sisters Cottage from Belgian Fan Designer Amber Veyt (aka TheAmbrinator).
The updated Sanderson Sisters Cottage features 2,992 pieces.
It includes the openable Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage, Billy’s grave, and 12 Minifigures: Winifred Sanderson, Sarah Sanderson, Mary Sanderson, Max Dennison, Dani Dennison, Allison, Emily Binx, Thackery Binx, Binx (as a cat), Billy Butcherson, Ernie AKA Ice and Jay. Notable elements from the original design are also included in the set, such as the black flame candle and the Sanderson Sisters’ spellbook, complete with a spell to turn Thackery Binx into a cat.
It is GLORIOUS if you ask me.
“I absolutely loved this movie as a kid and never stopped loving it ever since!” Veyt wrote on the LEGO Ideas website. “When I rewatched the movie and saw the Sanderson Sisters’ cottage, a voice in my head said that this cottage would be an awesome LEGO set. Not only for die hard Hocus Pocus-fans but also for the ones that love spooky or haunted houses, Halloween and well — just a bunch of hocus pocus!”

No idea when this will be released but let’s hope in time for the new Hocus Pocus 2 Movie that releases this fall!
