How To Plan a Weekend Getaway to Vegas

  1. Pick an awesome hotel. There are so many deals and things online and this can be confusing. Since you are just spending a couple of days there, it’s important to pick something that is close to the action. I love LUXOR. You can even get a room overlooking the mountains if you want to look out your window and see an AMAZING view.
  2. Pick a show to see. I know that lots of people think Las Vegas is just about gambling, but for me it is ALL ABOUT THE SHOWS! You are going to want to pick your show out BEFORE you get there, because you don’t want it to be sold out. My recommendation is Blue Man Group. BLUE MAN GROUP is comedy, theater, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. Since you are already staying at Luxor, this is perfect since they have a specially designed Blue Man Theater where there are NO bad seats in the house. I’ve seen Blue Man Group a couple of times before, and I love them because they include the ENTIRE audience in their shows. They just moved their new show to Luxor in November, and I am so excited about it that I am actually visiting this weekend AND I am giving away two tickets for YOU to go and see the show, too! Just comment below and tell me if you’ve ever been to see Blue Man Group before! If you’re planning to go see them, I’ve got a 30% off discount, too. Just CLICK HERE.
  3. Pick somewhere fancy to eat. Las Vegas has a LOT of food, so plan out one of your meals– get dressed up, go casual, do whatever you want, it’s VEGAS, just pick somewhere fun to eat and enjoy that meal! This is your weekend getaway, after all.
  4. Don’t pack too much in to the weekend. The thing about Vegas is that it’s supposed to be spontaneous and fun. If you have a place to stay, a show to see, and a good meal to eat, then you’ve already given yourself the full Vegas experience, and the rest is just gravy. So, don’t plan the rest of the weekend. Take time to walk around and see the big awe-inspiring buildings and the shiny bright lights.
