Jennifer Garner Is Returning as Elektra in ‘Deadpool 3’ and I’m So Excited

Jennifer Garner is putting on her antihero suit.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Garner is officially returning as Elektra Natchios in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Deadpool 3, and we are all here for it!

In nearly two decades and 20 years to be exact, Jennifer hasn’t played the antihero character since her role in Daredevil with Ben Affleck in 2003 and then two years later in the standalone film Elektra, in 2005.

Alongside Jennifer Garner, the Deadpool sequel will also star Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

The sequel will also star Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Karan Soni as Dopinder, Stefan Kapičić as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Emma Corrin, and Matthew Macfadyen.

And as for Ben Affleck, rumors have flooded the internet that Garner’s ex-husband may reprise his role as Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil in Deadpool 3.

Currently, the upcoming movie is filming in London so if you’re visiting the United Kingdom for vacation or happen to be a resident, you might just see the antiheroes fighting around the capital.

Deadpool 3 is currently set to release on May 3 of next year on the big screen in theatres only.
