Keanu Reeves is Going To Voice Shadow in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’

There is a new ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ film coming out this year, and Keanu Reeves is lending his voice to an important character!

Multiple sources have reportedly confirmed that Keanu Reeves will be the voice of the character Shadow in ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter.

Shadow the Hedgehog is a character that was first introduced in the 2001’s ‘Sonic Adventure 2’ video game.

Others joining the new cast are: James Wolk, Krysten Ritter, Cristo Fernández, Jorma Taccone, Alyla Browne, and Sofia Pernas.

They will join returning cast members that include: Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub, and Idris Elba. 

Jim Carrey is quite a surprise since he had mentioned that he was considering retiring from acting after he did ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 2’.

Keanu Reeves seems to be adding to his voice-acting resume over the past few years, including voicing Batman in ‘DC League of Super-Pets’ and Duke Caboom in ‘Toy Story 4’.
