KFC Just Released Funnel Cake Fries and I’m On My Way Now

KFC is dabbling in carnival foods.

That’s right, KFC is making carnivals last past the summer season with their newest dessert dish.

So while KFC may be known for their fried chicken, the fast food chain might have just changed their reputation for the foreseeable future, and it’s all thanks to their brand new dessert.

What’s dubbed their Funnel Cake Fries, KFC has brought every carnival you’ve attended to the drive-thru.

Similarly like the funnel cake plates you can get at your hometown’s carnival, KFC also uses the same type of fried dough to bring back every memory you once had as a kid when biting into a hot funnel cake.

On top of the freshly fried dough, the fast food joint also uses a generous amount of powdered sugar to complete this packaged dessert.

Shaped like fries rather than a cake, KFC’s new funnel cake fries are unfortunately only available in select locations according to @snackolator.

However, the Instagram account also noted that since the funnel cake fries were already tested last year, it seems unlikely that the fast food chain is introducing yet another test market for the hot new fries.

So does this mean the funnel cake fries might of had a positive test result and are expanding to more KFC locations nationwide, @snackolator seems to think so!

I mean c’mon, who doesn’t like funnel cake?

Although here’s hoping the fried dough releases nationwide very soon, but in the meantime, you can currently snag a box of KFC’s funnel cake fries now, at participating chains!
