Don’t worry, if you are wondering who the heck came up with this idea, I am too.

I love long, beautifully decorated nails but not on the toes. I mean, I feel like I’d just trip and rip one off…

And yeah, people who like these, get really into them. I mean, look at these…

Seriously, I can’t stop thinking about tripping or snagging my toenails on something! OUCH.

Maybe if you do choose to get these long fake toenails, opt for a bigger size of flip flops to accommodate?

So, what do you think? Would you give this a try?

  1. I have to ask. How do you know that this is going to be the summer’s hottest trend?

    1. They write it in the headline!!! Duh lolol@Jack,

  2. Welcome Footopia might be the only ones that look like normal feet. Wtf what man/woman wanna sleep with someone who got actual bear claws? Legs come out the bed skin looking like ribbons. No thanks something you just shouldn’t do. Periodt.

  3. I tried fake toenails a few times. But I had them normal size. Because I didn’t like how my normal toenails look like, I would never get them this long though. Emna’s big toe here looks infected.

    1. @christina breu, me too. Mine we regular size and no one could tell. Lol. I purchased mine at Walmart.

  4. Is this the masochist’s newest summer fashion? I have only one question: why?

    1. @Barbara, I know this is an old post but it is probably a trend because during the shutdown no one knew how to do their own pedicures, so they never cut them lmao. So stupid looking!

  5. Jeezus! Little Lotta and Pig Pen should not wear that yellow. Pig Pen also could have *washed* her dayum feet. Gross!

  6. Yes, they’re pretty. It gives you more space for nail art. As long as you wear open toed shoes all the time, it’s fine. People need to stop being so judgemental.

    1. @Kendie Morrow, Trying not to barf on my laptop

  7. What about your sleeping partner? Scared they’d get speared!!

  8. That’s what I call Predator toes that is just disgusting. And those are some ugly toes sporting those long fake nails

    1. @Margo, dang girl was you not never taught if you couldn’t say something nice, to not say nothing at all? You didn’t just voice your dislike for them but you insulted the look of her toes! All I can say is, watch out that’s coming back somewhere, a grandkid maybey idk but it’s coming

    2. @Brenda, Wow that is her opinion so mind your business !!!
If they don’t want to be talked about they should not put it out there !!!
Do you actually know which ones she was talking about ???
So where is the harm ??? Get a life !!!

    1. @Jillian, Me too Jillian! I like French tips too!! I live in sandals so the length is never a problem.

  9. so now it’s a love affair with toenails and feet. whats next.

  10. This is the stupidest trend ever. If I ever see a woman wear those, I’m gonna smack her being the head, so that cognitive cells could start to work again.

  11. I think the model is a bit to long but I’m all for them …. I am shaping mine up now getting ready for open toed shoes…wear them almost all summer. I paint them very stunning colors as well..why not ? Have fun ! Very rarely wear closed toe shoes during Summer .

  12. Just bc something is a “trend” does not mean you have to or should partake

  13. someone in the nail industry wants more business.

    1. @Brina Healy,
Honestly I’ll do whatever my client wants but I personally do not find them attractive. Most people do go a bit longer in summer.

  14. Y’all that think this is a good idea or even a trend are in for a rude awakening, unless you are 600 lbs & can’t get up. There’s exercise, SHOES, work, driving, mowing-hence shoes! Give me a break, use your brain. Ok maybe for a week vacation at the beach ?, but when you catch a shark ? or need to run for Pete’s sake. We’ll be watching? from the gym.
    Stacy❤️

    1. @Stacy, I agree! There were a couple that actually looked rather nice. The shorter ones looked decent, especially the 1st picture and the one with the jeweled strap on her feet. Those would like great for a beach vacation. But those long ones, especially the yellow ones!! EWWWW Who, in their right mind, could possibly believe those looked good? Seems like they’d shred anything with which they came into contact.

    2. @Stacy, str8 up yo! Couldn’t have said it better!

  15. My TOES aren’t even as long as these models’ toes. Gross.

  16. Can you imagine stubbing your toe with these??!?! Yikes!

  17. Recently tried acrylics on my toe nails for the first time ever and it caused a fungus on my toe nail. Had to remove them ASAP.

    1. @Victoria, Acrylic doesn’t cause fungus on your nails. Unhygienic nail techs give them to you or maybe you stubbed your toe which allowed water to get underneath your nail. A warm, most dark place (like inside your closed shoes) are the perfect breading grounds for a fungus to thrive. So lets not blame the product 🙂

    2. @Anchen, thank you. I have had mine done for years. You don’t get a fungus from them. That’s from carelessness and just not taking care of them.

  18. If your feet say you can fly over a lake and catch your dinner, no thanks.

This is only for people who don’t need to walk for days and days. It’s ugly and unhygienic.

  19. No they aren’t and don’t try to make it

  20. Ugh, feet are nasty in the first place! Then to add these disgusting long toe nails to boot?! ?

  21. Seriously…those are ugly feet to begin with. Why draw more attention to them…disgusting to say the least.
