So, here I am admitting that I’m addicted to buying crap. Only, I don’t exactly feel like it’s a problem and before you get out the intervention banner, hear me out.
Yes, admittedly I enjoy the rush of an online shopping session but trust me, if it’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s how to spend my hard earned money wisely by utilizing deals and obtaining crap for less.
No, not literal crap because let’s be honest, there are a lot of cheap (cheaply made) crap out there but, I am talking about the good crap, the crap that is so good, you want to buy more.
Yup, that is where my addiction to buying crap comes into play.
You see, several years ago I found this site called Woot! and it’s the original daily deals site, founded in 2004. Originally, Woot! offered one product per day until its stock of that item sold out, or until the product was replaced at midnight Central Time with the next offering. Today, they offer multiple daily deals and other short-term sales across 7 different categories, plus special site-wide events like Woot-Offs and other shenanigans.

In fact, just last week Woot! celebrated their 15th birthday and had an entire week of birthday deals and shenanigans. I even scored my first-ever Bag of Crap and got some good stuff. You can check out that video below.
This site is so good at selling crap at awesome prices that I just can’t help myself.
I spend hours on this site looking through the deals and strategically planning my purchases for upcoming birthdays and holidays.
Have you ever heard of ‘Christmas in July‘? It’s a real thing for my family and I because we get most of our holiday shopping done this month.

The Woot T-shirts are unique and often not found anywhere else and honestly, they are so cool, that my husband owns more Woot shirts than I should probably admit.
Even though I spend hours a week looking through the deals on Woot and shopping for crap, it means I can spend more time with my family during the holidays and less time shopping to find that perfect last-minute gift.
So, honestly, if you are addicted to buying crap too, it’s okay. Just make sure you buy the right crap, at the right price, for the right reason and everything be okay.
