Millie Bobby Brown Is Sherlock’s Sister In ‘Enola Holmes’ And It Is Everything

Suddenly everyone is talking about ‘Enola Holmes’! Well, who the heck is Enola Holmes? It turns out that she is Sherlock’s sister. Of course, with me being a huge Sherlock Holmes fan, my interest was piqued. I had to find out more about ‘Enola Holmes’, one of the newest releases from Netflix.

We all know who Millie Bobby Brown is right? She played Eleven in ‘Stranger Things’ and became a pretty well-known face and name.

The movie is based on a series of books written by Nancy Springer called ‘The Enola Holmes Mysteries’. It’s a young adult fiction series that I think I need to get for my girls right away!

There was a total of 6 books in the series:

• The Case of the Missing Marquess
• The Case of the Left-Handed Lady
• The Case of the Bizarre Bouquets
• The Case of the Peculiar Pink Fan
• The Case of the Cryptic Crinoline 
• The Case of the Gypsy Goodbye 

Sherlock Holmes never had a sister right? Nancy Springer decided to create the character of Enola as Sherlock’s sister for a new way of looking at Sherlock Holmes.

The adaption for the Netflix film sounds super awesome! Enola’s mother is missing and she needs to find her. Her mother is portrayed by one of my most favorite actresses, Helena Bonham Carter. It released on Netflix Sept. 23rd and now everyone is talking about it!

If you love Sherlock Holmes as much as I do, you’ll be happy to know that he is featured in the film as well! But, keep in mind that the focus in this film is the mystery-solving little sister, known as Enola Holmes.

It looks like it has mystery, action, adventure, and some humor too! I love that she talks to the camera. You can watch the trailer below!
