Netflix’s Newest Series Stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Has Taken Over The #1 Spot
Now, I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not usually a fan of Schwarzenegger in “funny” movies.
He plays pretty much the same character in all his dramedies … Kindergarten Cop, Twins, Last Action Hero, Jingle All The Way —
All his flicks are all pretty predictable and just about the same — with a few tweaks in characters and a slight change in storyline.
So, when I saw that Arnold Schwarzenegger was playing a CIA agent in a new Netflix dramedy series, I did not have high hopes. I mean — I had NONE.
I went into the show knowing nothing about it — I figured that would be best.
All I knew was the synopsis of the series I found on Google.
A CIA operative on the verge of retirement discovers a family secret and is forced to go back into the field for one last job.

I actually rolled my eyes with trepidation when I went to press play on this Schwarzenegger series.
I watched 5 minutes of the show — not too bad.
Kept watching. 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes.
Before I knew it, the first episode was over, and I actually wanted to stay and binge watch the next episode.
Now, I’m not going to say this show is totally out of character for Schwarzenegger. His acting is what it is.
But, the plot is pretty good, and there is enough peripheral action going on to make it worth the watch.
Spoiler Alert: Arnold finds out his daughter is also in the CIA, so that gives the show a deeper dynamic — layers, if you will — that add to the storyline.
I will warn you — you might have to watch the show with the closed captioning on. Arnold can be a bit hard to understand at times.
Typical Arnold Schwarzenegger, am I right?!?
