Kristen Bell most recently opened up about parenting.

In a recent interview with Kelly Clarkson on “The Kelly Clarkson Show“, Kristen shared the reason on why her kids like to drink nonalcoholic beer.

During the interview, Kristen explained that her husband is a recovering addict and during their nightly walks with their oldest daughter, her husband, Dax Shepard would sometimes sip on a nonalcoholic beer.

The mother of two further explained that,

“As a baby she was pawing at it, and sometimes she’d suck on the rim of it. So I think it feels to her like something special, something daddy, something family, Kristen said during the interview.”

During the interview, Kelly Clarkson also confirmed that there is zero alcohol in the beverages.

And according to Kristen, her two daughters will even ask for nonalcoholic beers while out to eat from time to time because of their early childhood memories.

Kristen says when they do order nonalcoholic beers at restaurants she first thought, …” maybe we just keep that for home time,” Kristen chuckled; however she then thought, ”But then I’m also sort of like, you can judge me if you want, I’m not doing anything wrong. Like that’s your problem,” said Kristen.

This also isn’t the first time Bell has opened up about parenting.

In a past interview with Real Simple, Kristen mentioned that talks about complex subjects to her daughters.

“There should be no topic that’s off the table for people to talk about,” Bell said in a past interview with Real Simple. “There are all these ‘hard topics’ that don’t have to be if you give the person on the other end your vulnerability and a little bit of credit.”
