You Can Plant Flowers That Look Like Tiny Eyeballs That Can Also Be Used Soothe Toothache Pain
I’m a bit of a crunchie-type person… like I try natural remedies before over-the-counter and prescribed medications first.
In fact, even with my chronic illnesses, most of my treatments and medications are 100% natural and it’s been an amazing journey.
This is why I am so intrigued by the ‘Toothache Plant’, known by the scientific name Spilanthes Oleracea.
Lovely, unusual plant variety which I want as a medicinal and a cut flower!

The Spilanthes Oleracea is a medicinal herb that grows a super unique looking flower that is sometimes called the Eyeball Plant.
Historically this plant has been used to help manage toothache pain and that makes me want to grow it and give it a try myself.
I’m so happy with my purchase! I can’t wait to get started on my garden!!! So excited!

When you bite into the leaves or the button-like flowers, there is a temporary numbing effect that has been said to work much better than over-the-counter products.
The seeds arrived quickly and the packaging was intact. I am excited to start this plant with my 2year old granddaughter! This will be her first foray into gardening, so we’ll see how things go. We will start the seeds either Friday or next Monday.

In recent studies, they show that it may also have antifungal, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory properties!
This plant definitely sounds like a must-have for the medicinal garden!
