Sonic Is Releasing a Burger That Comes With a Peanut Butter Spread and I’m Not Sure How to Feel Right Now
When you think of a burger and all of it’s fixings, what comes to mind?
Perhaps lettuce, tomato, a few slices of pickles, cheese, and bacon?
But when it comes to Sonic, peanut butter, is their secret ingredient.
That’s right, the fast food giant is ringing in the new year with a wacky burger that you typically won’t find on the menu at your favorite restaurant.
Enter, the Peanut Butter Bacon SuperSONIC Double Cheeseburger.
The new cheeseburger, inspired by Sonic’s original SuperSONIC Bacon Double Cheeseburger comes fixed with crispy bacon, grilled onions, melted cheese and of course, a creamy peanut butter spread.
The burger is then completed and severed on a toasted bakery bun.
And whether or not you believe peanut butter should be paired with only jelly, Sonic is clearly in their PB era, considering the fast food chain is pairing this burger, with another peanut butter shake as well!
What’s been gone for almost 11 years, Sonic has to decided to bring back the Peanut Butter Bacon Shake, which is layered with peanut butter and bacon, which is then hand-mixed into a sweet, vanilla soft serve that’s finished with a whipped topping and a cherry.
Now we’ve heard of peanut butter and bacon together before, but a burger, is something new to try!
If you dare to try Sonic’s new burger and their returning shake, you can find the peanut buttery pair on menus starting January 8 for a limited time only according to @markie_devo.
