Stephanie Meyer Has Plans To Release Two More Twilight Books And I Can’t Wait To Read Them
Twilight fans, get ready! The author of the Twilight series have heard our prayers and is writing more books!
These two new books are going to take place in the Twilight universe! We never thought this day would come after a comment Meyer made about being “so done” back in 2013.
But it seems she is now ready to get her creative juices flowing again, this time outside of Bella’s mindset. (which most of us are ok with.
During an online live event for Books-A-Million, Meyer told fans that she has plans to release two more Twilight books.
“There are two more books I think in the world that I want to write,” she said. “I have got them outlined and a chapter written I think of the first one, so I know it’s there. I am not ready to do that right now, I want to do something brand new.”
But these books won’t be from Bella or Edward’s perspectives.
“This is it for Edward. Writing from his point of view makes me extra anxious,” she explained. “And the experience of writing this book (Midnight Sun) was not a super pleasant one. So no, I wouldn’t want to do that – especially given that ‘New Moon’ would just be a nightmare of depression and emptiness.”
This news is exciting and VERY unexpected, considering that Meyer previously said that the only new Twilight book she’d consider writing is “three paragraphs on my blog saying which of the characters died”. I cant wait to see what route she’s going to take with these new books!
