Taco Bell Is Bringing Back the Fan-Favorite Enchirito After Nearly a Decade
Most recently it seems as if Taco Bell has been stuck in the past.
Considering the taco chain has put emphasis on items that were discontinued in previous years, yet again Taco Bell has sought out to bring back another fan-favorite to menus after years of its removal.
And rather than Taco Bell selecting a food item from the past to bring back, Taco Bell gave its fans the choice this time around between two menu items with the most requests to return.
The two choices? The Double Decker Taco and the Enchirito!
The two were thrown against one another in a battle that allowed Taco Bell enthusiasts to vote on which fan-favorite would reprise its role on the menu once again.
And while voting is officially closed, the Bell does have a winner!
Thanks to all who voted, the Enchirito has won by a landslide with 62% of individuals who favored the saucy meal versus only 38% who wanted the Double Decker.
Gone for a nearly a decade since it was removed in 2013, the Enchirito has a long history that dates back to the 1970s when it was first introduced 52 years ago!
So here’s what your fork will soon be getting into; a soft tortilla rolled and stuffed with beef, beans, diced onions, and slathered in red sauce with melted cheddar cheese sprinkled on top!
Returning nationwide, the Enchirito is back at Taco Bell for a limited time starting November 17!
