How fun is this underwater gadget?!? I would have totally loved one of these when I was a teenager, scuba diving around the lakes in Austin, Texas.

If we are honest, I want one now.

This is called an underwater scooter, and it does just what the name implies.

It will drag you along through the water at speeds up to 3.5 miles an hour, which sounds completely fun, doesn’t it?

You could use this in a big pool, in a lake, or you could use it in any big body of water. Basically, anywhere you would snorkel, you could use this handy tool to help you get around under water.

It will go down to depths of about 130 feet underwater — which is WAY too deep for me now. Keep me at about 8 feet, and I’m good.

WHITESHARK MIX is a compact underwater scooter launched by SUBLUE. An ingenious underwater scooter equipped with double propellers. The small and integrated design makes it easy to carry and operate. Swim and dive like a champion even if you are new to the water.

Small, but mighty, the Whiteshark Mix flies through the water at 3.4 MPH at a maximum depth of 130ft, faster and deeper than units costing more than twice as much.

Y’all. This water scooter even has a camera mount, so you can capture all that cool underwater footage that you could normally only tell people about.

Speed may vary from person to person based on load and environment. 30 minutes is the average time when used by swimmers in normal underwater conditions and will vary with the intensity of usage. It’s suggested to prepare two or more dedicated batteries to swap out during longer sessions.

You can get your own super fun underwater scooter on the Amazon website, and it runs about $470 (depending on which color you choose).

This totally makes me want to plan a trip to some tropical destination with crystal blue clear water! I want to take all the underwater pictures as I’m propelling through the water at breakneck speeds of 3 miles per hour!!
