Something exciting is happening in the sky and you won’t even need a telescope to see it!

Over the next few weeks, we will have the opportunity to view something that has not happened since 18 years ago in 2004!

I love that this isn’t just a one or two-night thing because we almost always have cloudy skies when there are cool events happening in the sky.

We will be able to see five planets lined up in the east-southeast sky and they will appear in the order of their distance from the sun!

  • Mercury
  • Venus
  • Mars
  • Jupiter
  • Saturn

We will be able to view this amazing site until early July!

If you want to have the best views you will need to get up about an hour before sunrise, so go to bed early!

For an even better view, drive out and away from light pollution where there are no buildings or trees blocking your view of the east and southeastern horizon.

You won’t want to miss this because we will not have this opportunity again until 2040!

Sounds like a perfect time to go camping with the family and do some stargazing, or maybe it’s time for me to take a solo camping trip…
