90210 Is Coming Back This Summer With The Original Cast

Hang on to your hats, because 90210 is returning to Fox this summer with the original cast.

But, there’s a twist.

The 90210 “revival” is a six episode event coming in the summer of 2019.

I can’t believe I am saying that! Can you believe it? No, I will give you a minute.

Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Zierning, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling are all going to be a part of the reunion.

The big twist that Fox is promising is, that instead of playing their characters, they are actually going to play themselves— only much more dramatic and ridiculously soapy in a “mockumentary” that is basically more like a “what would happen if we all got back together to film a reunion show.”

They’re going to talk about long lost love they had for one another, teen angst, and just basically tell their stories of how they got to be, and what it would be like if they did have a reunion.

I mean, that’s something I would be into is Brenda we’re coming back, but it seems that she’s not on the cast list.

Wasn’t she the one who brought all the drama to the set in the first place?

Why aren’t they doing a reboot for real?

Well, apparently they didn’t want to do a reboot of a reboot. (I’m not going to lie, I loved the second version of 90210 just as much as I loved the first, if not more.)

So instead of doing that, they want to do this fiction/non-fiction thing.

I, for one, would have been perfectly happy with a reboot of a reboot.

Is it too late for us to change their minds?

But more importantly, is it too late to get Doherty on board?

I mean, I have to admit, if you would have told me back then that the most famous person to come out of 90210 would be Tori Spelling I would have laughed and laughed.

So it’s more of a revival than a reboot, at least that’s what they’re saying.

I mean, I’m going to watch either way.

So just make it happen already.
