Wow, I can’t even imagine being a parent right now that relies on formula, this has to be more than a little concerning!

Thankfully, I was one of those moms that had a very easy time breastfeeding, which saved me a lot of money and saved me from a lot of stress… but not all mothers are able to breastfeed successfully.

Baby formula has been there to fill that need and now with the shortages, parents are getting a bit stressed and I don’t blame them.

With the shortages, CVS and Walgreens reportedly have set a purchase limit of only 3 containers of baby formula!

I also read that Target has limited online purchases of baby formula to just 4!

Yikes, like… what if you have more than one child eating formula?

Inflation, supply chain shortages, and product recalls have brought an unprecedented amount of volatility for baby formula.

The shortage is reportedly due to supply chain issues that were made worse when Abbott Nutrition had to issue a recall after 2 children died.

We expect to continue to see the baby formula category being dramatically affected by these conditions.

Ben Reich, CEO of the retail data-tracker Datasembly, said in a statement

If you are feeding baby formula, I really feel for you, I can’t even imagine how stressful this must be.
