Bacon Wrapped Pickles Ingredients

  • Bacon – you can use your favorite bacon such as smoked bacon, thick-cut bacon, etc.
  • Pickles – you can use your favorite pickles in any shape you’d like. Whole, spear or pickle fries seem to work best.
  • Seasoning – optional but if you want additional taste, you can use sweet rub or bbq rub on these before cooking
  • Dipping sauce – Choose your favorite dipping sauce to use. Sour cream and cream cheese are popular choices too!

How to make bacon wrapped pickles

Most people are taking pickle spears and wrapping the entire pickle up with a piece of uncooked bacon before grilling. You can even use a skewer to help place it onto the grill. People are also doing this method using dill pickle spears.

This seems the most logical and easiest way.

Others are actually taking smaller pieces of pickles (slicing pickles into small rounds) and wrapping those in bacon then grilling them.

Seems a bit trickier but seems to do the job as well.

How to make bacon wrapped pickles in air fryer

If using an air fryer, you will make the pickles as the same as above. Then, cook in the air fryer at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for about 12 minutes. Keep an eye on them. Once the bacon looks cooked and crispy, they should be done.

How to make bacon wrapped pickles in the oven

If making these in the oven, you will bake them at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes on a baking sheet. You can flip them half way through to ensure the bacon is crispy and cooked on both sides. Once cooked, place on a paper towel to remove any extra grease before serving.

Honestly, the more I talk about them, the more I am craving them.

That sweet/sour flavor of the pickles and the salty, crunch from the bacon. That combo sounds amazing.

So, go grab yourself a jar of pickles and some bacon. You are going to want to make these stat!
