‘Big Mac’ Smash Tacos Are The New Viral Food Trend. Here’s How To Make Them.
Holy Big Mac, Batman. This is delicious!
There is a viral food trend making its way across the internet, and it is a mashup of two of our favorite foods: Smashburgers and Big Macs.
To make things even better, it’s been made into a TACO, and I think I’m in love.
This recipe may look daunting, but I promise, you can do it.
It seems like a lot of ingredients, but you just kinda throw them all together, and VOILA!!
You will have Big Mac Smash Tacos to enjoy. Taco Tuesday just got even tastier.
How To Make Big Mac Smash Tacos
You start with the “Big Mac” sauce. Don’t be afraid of the ingredients.
Combine 1/2 cups mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish, 1 tablespoon white vinegar, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard, 1 teaspoon sweet paprika, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, a dash of salt, and a dash of pepper.
Stir that all together, and set it to the side.
Now, take a skillet, and put about 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil in it. Get it screaming hot on about medium heat.
Next, get a FLOUR tortilla (it works better) and smash down hamburger meat onto it — all the way to the edges. You want that baby nice and flat.
Stick the flour tortilla into the skillet, meat side down, and sear it for about 5 to 6 minutes.
Flip the tortilla over, add a slice of American cheese, and let it melt into the meat.
When it’s nice and ooey gooey, take it out and put it on a plate.
Add diced sweet onions, pickles, shredded lettuce, and top it with some of that “Big Mac” sauce.
Fold that bad boy up into a taco shape, and shove it in your face hole.

- ½ Cups Mayonnaise

- 1 Tablespoon Yellow Mustard

- 1 ½ Tablespoons Oil
- 1 Flour Tortilla
- ¼ Cup Ground Beef
- 1 Slice American Cheese
- 1 Tablespoon Sweet Relish
- ½ Tablespoon Sweet Onion
- ¼ Cup Shredded Lettuce
Instructions
- Put 1 1/2 tablespoons oil in skillet, and heat it up.
- Get a flour tortilla and smash the ground beef on it, all the way to the edges.
- Sir that on medium heat about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Flip Tortilla, and add 1 slice of American cheese.
- Cook until melted.
- Top with relish, onions, and lettuce.
- Enjoy!
