Here’s How To Order A Cheese Sandwich Off The McDonald’s Secret Menu
Did you know that you can get a Cheese Sandwich off the McDonald’s Secret Menu?
I was raised a vegetarian, so it is sometimes difficult for me to chow down on a big juicy cheeseburger.
Oh, don’t get me wrong. I CAN eat cheeseburgers, and I usually enjoy them. BUT, there are just sometimes that I want a cheese sandwich instead of a full-blown burger.
You probably wouldn’t think of McDonald’s as a place to get a Cheese Sandwich, but it’s totally possible, and actually pretty tasty.
What Is A Cheese Sandwich Off The McDonald’s Secret Menu?
This isn’t your typical grilled cheese, with a toasty top and ooey gooey cheese dripping from the sides.
It is an actual Cheese Sandwich — in that there is no meat but there is definitely cheese.
In the past, I’ve gotten just your typical McDonald’s Cheeseburger with No Meat Patty, and it’s okay — pretty plain, but okay.
With the regular Cheeseburger with No Meat, you get pickles, cheese, onions, ketchup, mustard, and bun.
But, it’s totally possible to build on that burger, and make it a tasty Cheese Sandwich that comes with actual ingredients.
How Do You Order A Cheese Sandwich Off The McDonald’s Secret Menu?
This Cheese Sandwich is super easy to order. You don’t need any super crazy directions, just straight-forward ingredients.
In fact, you could totally order it right on the McDonald’s mobile app, thereby bypassing the drive-thru speaker completely.
I’ll get to that in a minute.
BUT, if you are going up to the drive-thru speaker, you need to tell them exactly what you want. Let’s face it. This is McDonald’s. You pretty much have to hold their hand through the process.
Ask For:
- A Cheeseburger with NO Hamburger Patty
- Add Mayonnaise
- Add Lettuce
- Add Tomato
- Add Extra Pickles
Then you want to go ahead and order a side of French Fries — make it at least a medium size.
If you want a drink to go with your order, go for it!
The entire thing should be less than 6 bucks!! Pretty awesome, if I do say so myself!
Now, if you are ordering from the McDonald’s Mobile App, it’s going to be super simple.
First you click on “Cheeseburger,” and customize it.
- No Meat
- Extra Pickles
- Add Mayonnaise
- Add Lettuce
- Add Tomato
Then you add fries — at least a medium — and a drink if you so desire.
How Do You Put Together The Cheese Sandwich Off The McDonald’s Secret Menu?
Now, check your bag, because — it’s McDonald’s. Nine times out of ten, they put meat on the sandwich or they forget cheese — if you’re REALLY lucky, you get meat AND no cheese.
*Eye Roll*
Here’s what you should get:
- Bun
- Mayo
- Ketchup
- Mustard
- Onions
- Pickles
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Cheese
Then, of course, your french fries and drink.
You can eat the sandwich just like that OR you can supe it up — like I do — and add french fries to the mix! It’s totally tasty, and you haven’t lived until you’ve tried it.
Now, is this truly vegetarian? I’m going to go out on a limb and say no. Half the time, they will take the cheese off a meat patty, and you are left with hamburger bits embedded in the cheese. So gross if you aren’t expecting it.
