Chrissy Teigen's DNA Test Says She May Have A Twin But The Real Reason For The Results, Is Hilarious

Over the weekend, Chrissy Teigen took a 23andMe home genetic test, because she wanted to look into her family tree as part of a “health and wellness” journey.

But, she got more than she bargained for when the DNA Test came back and said that she had a 100% match for an identical twin.

Now, in real life, she is not a twin. She has never been a twin. She has no record of ever having a twin.

As you can imagine, she started freaking out just a little bit.

I paid for some of the upgrades and the first thing that came up after I found out that I was part neanderthal, was this: Identical twin — That has to be a joke, right?

Chrissy’s first response was to message this supposed twin through the 23andMe website.

Spoiler alert: she got absolutely no reply.

The next thing she did was contact the 23andMe website’s support team. But, of course, they didn’t even have a real person manning the email. She got an automated response.

As her mind and thoughts started “spiraling,” she got the idea to ask her parents — something that she maybe should have done from the very start. LOL!!

When she contacted her dad, he, of course, said that she was indeed NOT a twin.

I’m literally saying, ‘Dad, hey, did you see come out of mom’s vagina and were there two of me? — He starts laughing, saying ‘No, I was there, there are not two of you!’ I was like, ‘Are you sure you were there?’

It’s kinda hard to argue with DNA proof, right?

She was legit freaking out.

At this point, I’m making excuses for my whole life. I’m like, ‘This is why I’m so codependent, because my twin was ripped away from me! This is why I always felt something missing and this is why I have addiction issues’… I’m like, literally, ‘Holy fuck!’

It was then that she decided to call her sister, Tina.

Tina remembered a little piece of the puzzle that had, until this moment, been forgotten.
