Dog the Bounty Hunter Says He Recently Discovered He Has a Secret Son
Imagine one day finding out you have a secret love child you knew nothing about until they were an adult…
Well, that is exactly what happened to Dog The Bounty Hunter recently.
Dog revealed the news to fans on Instagram while remembering the fourth anniversary of his late wife Beth Chapman’s death.
In case you didn’t remember, Beth Chapman died in June 2019 after losing her battle to throat cancer.
Today, June 26th marks 4 years since her passing which is why Dog had posted about her.
Dog posted on Instagram saying:
“For the last four years, this day was a terrible reminder of one of the greatest losses of my life. But God redeemed this day when I discovered my son Jon, who I just met recently, was born on this day,” Dog wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of his adult son, and Dog’s newly met daughter-in-law. “So now instead of sorrow, this day has a new meaning. This is my son Jon and his wife Jodi.”

Dog’s post continued with saying:
“The whole story of Jon is told in my new book, Nine Lives and Counting, coming SOON,” Dog added, making sure to get in a plug for his forthcoming memoir. “For anyone who has suffered a terrible loss please know God restores and redeems. Happy birthday son, love you both.”
Dog is already the father of 12 children before finding out about his long-lost son. Now, as a father of 13, Dog’s family is far from boring or small.
As of right now, nobody really knows much about Jon, his mother or when he was conceived but it seems like fans will learn more in Dog’s new memoir 9 Lives and Counting. You can pre-order the book now with a release in April 2024.
So, as for now, we will all just have to wonder how Jon came to be.
