The final season of Game of Thrones is upon us and it seems like it just started but in reality, next week is the finale.
Yes, I know, it seems like we waited forever for this season to be filmed and it’s quickly coming to end.
While many others feel the same way, people are more upset at the ‘laziness’ of the show’s creators due to many mishaps during this season.
First, there was the extra dark episode of the fight with the White Walkers. Then, the accidental Starbucks cup being featured in last week’s episode.
And now, people are taking notice that King’s Landing doesn’t look like King’s Landing…
Reddit User’s noticed how different King’s Landing looked from the first few seasons to the newest season. Everything from the intro to the scene where Daenerys’ army is seen standing outside the gates to King’s Landing.
People were also quick to point out that George R.R. Martin’s description depicts the surroundings of King’s Landing as a forest area which is what we see in the images from the first season.
So, what the heck happened?
Did creators think we weren’t going to notice?
Did they just get so focused on filming they forgot about the details?
One Twitter user even pointed out how close it looked to another show…
People are not happy at all over the change (and with no further explanation).
Whatever it caused this, there is no going back from the mistakes.
I love Game of Thrones, but let’s hope these last 2 episodes can pull everything together and end in the way it should.
And now that I’ve seen this change, I cannot unsee it.
