Here’s A List Of All The Stores That Will Be Closed On Easter
There are a few stores that have decided to close on Easter Sunday (April 12th), and I’m not even remotely mad about it.
Any essential employee, who works tirelessly to bring us the food and supplies we need, DESERVES a break — even if it’s just for a day.
I WISH we could give healthcare workers a break, but that’s a whole different article.
The stores that we KNOW are closed on Easter are:
- Aldi
- BJ’s Wholesale Club
- Chick-fil-A (obviously, it’s Sunday)
- Costco
- Lowe’s
- Publix
- Sam’s Club
- Sears
- Some Starbucks Locations
- Sprouts
- Target
- Trader Joe’s
- Winn-Dixie
This seriously makes me want to support these establishments on days other than Easter. Kudos to these stores for putting their Employees FIRST over monetary gain!
Now, there ARE some stores that are going to remain open on Easter. That’s their right. I’m okay with it. A lot of the locations take volunteers to work on this holiday, thereby still giving part of their employee force the day off.
These stores will be OPEN on Easter Sunday:
- CVS
- Food Lion
- Fresh Market
- Randalls
- Some Starbucks Locations
- Walmart
- Walgreens
- Whole Foods
THANK YOU, essential employees. Have a happy and safe Easter holiday, and we’ll see you on Monday!
