I have had so many friends lately who have been kicked out of their Facebook accounts, and if they can’t get back in, they will lose ALL their Facebook information.

We’re talking years of photos, videos, posts, and other uploads — all gone.

But, did you know there is actually a way to preemptively backup all your information from Facebook?

That way you don’t lose every bit of your information if Facebook decides to catastrophically delete your data.

I can’t even imagine losing all my Facebook info. I have baby pictures of my kids, vacation photos, photos from high school, pics of my late grandparents — so much I don’t want to lose.

All you have to do is follow these few simple steps, and you will have all your Facebook info backed up in another safe spot, just in case.

Here’s How To Backup Your Facebook Information

First, you need to go to your main Facebook page on your computer.

You have to do this from your Computer, so make sure you are on a safe computer that isn’t shared with anyone else.

  • You want to click on the arrow below your picture in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

  • And then “Transfer A Copy Of Your Information.”

It will show you some common destinations for the information.

Just choose what you want to transfer, and where you want it to transfer to, and your computer will do the work for you.

You can even leave the page, and Facebook will continue to transfer your information to be backed up.

Look for a notification when the transfer is complete.

That’s it!!! Now, go about your business, knowing your information is safe and ready when you need it.
