It can’t be Christmas without a snowman or two.

And, there’s a totally simple way to make them that doesn’t include snow.

These are little snowmen that you can put around your house, put on your Christmas tree, or maybe attach to a present or two to add a bit of holiday adorableness.

Once you know how to make one, you will want to make an entire snow family!

What You Will Need To Make A Sock Snowman

You could probably head to the Dollar General for everything you are going to need to make these snowmen.

They are super inexpensive to make, and will add a touch of Christmas cheer to your house.

Here’s what you need to make a sock snowman:

  • Child-Size Sock
  • 2 Balls (Small Tennis or Foam Balls Will Work)
  • String or Yarn
  • 5 Sewing Pins With The Little Colorful Ball Tops

How To Make A Sock Snowman

Take one sock — it doesn’t matter if you use the right or left one — and stuff 2 balls down inside the toe.

They should be stacked on top of one another.

Then you are going to take your string, and tie it in between the balls.

Next, you are going to tie a small knot in the sock above the second ball.

Fold the top of the sock over the knot. It will look like a little hat.

Then, you are going to use the sewing pins to make eyes, a nose, and buttons down the front of the snowman.

Voila!! That’s it!!

Cute, right?!?

You can zhuzh up your snowman with googly eyes, buttons glued to its body, or colorful fabric for the scarf.
