John Stamos Says He Doesn’t Remember Filming ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2’

There used to be a moment in time when I was sure I was going to marry John Stamos.

Of course, he was like 30 and I was like 5. Hey, stranger things have happened.

If there was a John Stamos film or television appearance, I was going to see it.

And, that included My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2.

I’m one of the few who actually really liked it, but that could just be because I was in love with John Stamos.

Now, we are finding out that John Stamos doesn’t even remember being on the set of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2. Like, it was news to him that he was even in the film.

Why?

He was drinking pretty heavily at the time, and the whole thing is pretty much a blur.

Crazy, huh?!?

I’m like, ‘What? I don’t remember being on that set.

In fact, he got arrested in 2015 for Driving Under The Influence around that time (The film was released in 2016).

That was pretty much the beginning of the end.

When Stamos finally finished up filming My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, his close friends and family all got together and made sure he got the help that he needed — they knew the situation was bad.

As soon as I came back from Toronto, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, my sisters were there and my agents, and everybody was like, ‘Okay! It’s time — It wasn’t even an intervention, it was like, ‘We packed your bags, you’re going.’

Stamos is sober now, and can finally talk about the fact that he has memory issues from that period in time.
