Kayne West Just Donated $2 Million Dollars and Paid College Tuition For George Floyd’s Daughter

Kayne West has recently made a donation to the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.

Personally, I think the gesture is heart warming to hear and a very generous helping hand to give out to the mourning families during their time of grief.

According to CNN, his donation includes legal fee expenses for both Arbery and Taylor’s families. Kayne West is also giving out financial support to businesses from his hometown Chicago and other cities.

Breonna Taylor was an EMT who was shot at least 8 times by three officers who entered her apartment with force back in March. The FBI has since opened an investigation into her death.

Ahmaud Arbery was also fatally shot while jogging outside of Brunswick, GA late this February. Three men have been arrested since.

George Floyd recently passed away after he was pinned down by an officer who knelt on his neck during an arrest for nearly 9 minutes.

Last week, prosecutors charged officer Derek Chauvin with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Most recently, Chauvin was charged with second-degree murder.

In addition, Kayne West’s rep also confirmed that the pop star has established a 529 education plan to cover college tuition for George Floyd’s 6 year old daughter, Gianna.

Kayne West has certainly shown how big his heart is.

Kayne West was spotted in the streets of Chicago joining the movement, supporting and chanting with protestors.

Although, Kayne West isn’t the only star who’s been spotted protesting. Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Tinashe, Ariana Grande and Nick Cannon, are just a few celebrities amongst many others who have used their voice to peacefully protest and I think it’s amazing to see.
