What’s my favorite sandwich? The BLT. What’s my favorite chip flavor? The Lay’s BLT Potato Chip.

Good News!! Lay’s has brought back their BLT chip for a THIRD time, and I need a few bags in my life.

I WISH they would just keep it as a permanent flavor — but, alas, what I wish for has little bearing on what actually hits shelves. LOL!

The first time they brought out this AMAZING chip flavor was WAY back in 2012. You feel old now, don’t you?!?

These BLT chips then came back in 2017, before Lay’s once again hid them from our little prying hands.

“At Frito-Lay, our flavor experts find inspiration in all corners of the culinary universe. Our new Classic BLT-flavored Lay’s potato chips prove that inspiration is sometimes closer than you think,” said Ram Krishnan, vice president of marketing, Frito-Lay North America. “Pairing a delicious sandwich with our tasty Lay’s potato chips is an American tradition that helped inspire us to create this new flavor – a simple indulgence that makes more sense together than apart – just like the BLT.”

Last time these delicious, crispy chips of perfection came out, they were readily available.

THIS TIME, it appears, as of now, that these chips are in Target stores — and mainly in the southwest region of the country.

You’re killing me, FritoLay!

Luckily, FritoLay released THIS statement, saying the BLT flavored potato chips will be available “nationwide this month in three sizes: a 1.9 oz. bag for a suggested retail price of $1.09; a 2.9 oz. bag for a suggested retail price of $1.49; and a 10 oz. bag for a suggested retail price of $4.29.”
