Marshmallow Cream Booger Apples
Halloween is coming, and so are all the monsters, ghouls, ghosts, and gross slimy things you can imagine. True confession: We here at Totally The Bomb love gross and slimy. But since you’re here, we suspect you do, too. That’s why you’re going to love these ghoulishly delightful Marshmallow Cream Booger Apples so much. They’re the kind of thing that’ll make your kids say, “Eww”, quickly followed by, “Mmmm.” And, after all, isn’t that what Halloween is all about? Enjoy!
What You Need To Make Marshmallow Cream Booger Apples:
- 2 Jonagold Apples (or whatever kind you prefer)
- 1 Jar of Marshmallow Sauce
- 2 Popsicle Sticks
- Wax Paper
- Apple Booger (see Pro Tip)
How To Make Marshmallow Cream Booger Apples:
Rinse and dry apples, remove stem and insert Popsicle stick.
Use enough wax paper to accommodate two apples.
Pour marshmallow cream over apples.
Add apple boogers (see Pro Tip).
Place apples into the refrigerator to prevent marshmallow cream from melting until ready to serve.
Pro Tip: Make apple boogers by slicing apples then cross slicing again to make small squares, sprinkle with granulated sugar and add drops of green food coloring. Keep in a dry cool place until ready to use. I made the apple booger a day ahead to let the apple dry and take on a more booger appearance.
Happy Halloween!!
