You can make a Movie Night Snack Board, and I really can’t believe I didn’t think of this sooner!
My family has done the whole movie night thing where we give all the kids individual boxes complete with candy, popcorn, and a drink.
But, this is a fun take on those boxes. Perhaps a more grown-up version.
Everything just goes on a board — charcuterie board style — and everyone can dig in ’til their little hearts’ are content.
The ideas are as endless as your sugary cravings that call to you from the candy aisle.
How To Make A Movie Night Snack Board
You start with a board — obvi.
One with a lip around the edge — like a serving tray — works really well for this endeavor.
Then you grab your favorite movie watching goodies.
Popcorn, Gummy Bears, Hot Tamales, M&Ms, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Candy Corn, Snickers Minis, Crackers, Nuts.
You can even mix in some fruit, if you want to be all healthy.
There really is no wrong here. Just get whatever you and your family and/or friends desire.
It makes it look prettier if you have differing heights on the board — so don’t just throw everything down on the base of said board.
You can use bowls to get that pretty height. Just put some of that candy right into little bowls.
Maybe even use some popcorn boxes for that popped, buttery, deliciousness.
There is ONE rule. I must see pictures of your completed boards. I just might need some fun and different ideas for my family movie night.
If you are looking for something great to watch while you chow down on your Movie Night Snack Boards, hop on over to Disney+. The live-action Pinocchio has dropped, and it’s so cute!!
Maybe you’re looking for something a bit more “adult” to binge. In that case, Netflix has the Jeffrey Dahmer series. Word on the street is that it will have you glued to your screen.
