Like most of you, ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ is a movie I have been watching since… well, FOREVER! My entire life!

NBC

My kids also watch it every single year. It’s a great movie with a great message! I personally don’t see “the bad” about the movie.

Apparently, people are working on having it removed from playing this year and I’m not ok with this. They say that it celebrates bullies, umm… that’s not the message that I (and millions of others) got from this movie.

It’s also being said that it is negatively influencing children. Apparently, Bumble‘s teeth are too sharp? Seriously what? Canceling ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ should not be a thing.

NBC

If anything, ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ shows how bullying others is wrong! Yes, there are bullies in the movie. The movie is a lesson about bullying and how it is a bad thing.

Rudolph is different than the other Reindeer and they judge him for it. The movie shows that we shouldn’t judge those that are different than us!

NBC

His differences make him special and he is the hero of the whole dang movie. I am feeling a bit passionate about this right now and am really irritated that this sweet film is being targeted.

It’s also being targeted because Rudolph shows feelings for Clarice. C’mon, seriously? I hope that I am not alone when I say that ‘Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer’ is a classic movie with a good message and we need this in our lives.

  2. Ignoring the fact that the writer’s skills are that of an elementary school student, the investigative depth of this article is … zero. It’s just another fake “war on Christmas” story written only to cause outrage and piss people off.

  3. It’s in the Bible good would become evil. Evil will become good. Rudolph and all the holiday movies need to be left alone. These movies could help someone hold on to the little hope they have left. Faith of a mustard seed

  5. You leave Rudolph alone alot of people will be sad if he gets cancelled there nothing wrong with the movie

  6. I am a 44 year old adult with children who are now older and we still have little ones in the home. We have gathered for years to watch this program and others such as Frosty the Snowman. It would be a shame if this did not play. If people do not want their kids to watch something it is their job as a parent to keep their children away from their TV screen. People need to do what they need to do in their home and let other people do what they would like in their home. It is not up to people to have all of America lose a program because of what they believe. There are too many do-gooders in this world who should keep their thoughts to themselves. If they truly believe that the TV is bad or it shows bad things they should remove it from their home.

  7. Censor what your children watch, not what mine can watch. Sit down and explain to them what is right (or wrong) about what they see.

    1. So which side are you on? Do you thinRudolph should be banned?lf

      1. Definitely not! This is just an example of a bunch of parents who have nothing better to do with their lives. It also shows lack of interest for these parents to educate their children about bullying and differences in people. Removing a much loved televised tail is easier than taking the time to educate

  8. I grew up watching this show. My 4 kids grew up watching it and now my grandkids all 10 of them are growing up watching this show with me every year. The night it comes on we all gather together and make popcorn plenty of it and watch this. So it is screwed up if they are trying to band it this year.

  9. I can’t believe that I’ve been watching this in my kids has been watching us forever that’s just crazy

  10. Who are “THEY”? The author doesn’t say, which makes the entire rant suspect. Come on, out with the Facts. in Short, PUT UP OR SHUT UP>

  11. LOL have them persuade AppleTV to make a deal then!

  12. Can’t believe people like this i grew up with watching this movie every year and my church doesn’t see this movie as something bad not at all it’s a Christmas movie everything is not about you its a childrens story that is shown at Christmas every year get over your self and grow up

  13. Honestly, I’ve never heard of this and it doesn’t sound true to me. The author gives no information on who “they” are and seems to be making this up. If like to see the sources for your article, please.

  14. Where is there any sort of proof that someone is trying to cancel Rudolph? Is this in fact true?

  15. This is crazy ppl should worry about something that really matters like helping our neighbors

  16. God only knows what they will say about Watership Down?????

  17. Absolute rubbish. Who is saying what about this movie?

  18. Who said people are trying to get rid of the movie ? What is the source for this claim ?

  19. This is actually a powerful message to send to parents, Rudolph is unique and that is what made him a leader. Weather we want to teach our kids about bullies a time in their life will come when this may arise so as a parent we can teach our children not to make fun of people especially because they look different.

    1. I do not want the movie canceled. It’s a holiday tradition. It teaches that bullying is not necessary and that not everybody is the same. We are all unique.

  20. I’m 57 and this is still my favorite Christmas, oops, can I even say that word, movie. People have just gone crazy. What is supposed to be good, is bad and what is bad is good. Let’s get it together so that these kids coming up now won’t be totally screwed up.

  21. It’s a shame you even had to explain this movie to anyone. Some are just insistent on bringing the devil into everything!

  22. people have given up on god . thats why. stupid people.

  23. This is an outrage… I have seen this movie so many times growing up and i have 2 boys who watch this movie since they were born. I don’t see anything bad about this movie.

  24. The people trying to remove it are Grinches. There are some people who just love ve finding things to complain on anything. It’s really a shame
