The Cast Of The Live Action Little Mermaid Movie Has Been Announced And I Am Not Sure How To Feel
The live-action The Little Mermaid movie is FINALLY happening, and I couldn’t be more excited! After the “fake” live action movie came out, I had some concerns…because it was HORRIBLE. But Disney is finally bringing their own to life!
Not only is this finally happening, but we know the cast now! I have to say, I’m about 50/50 on my feelings about it.
Let me start by saying that Melissa McCarthy has Ursula has me SHOOK. I feel like she’s going to rock that role, even though she is the last person I expected to take it!
And I am definitely down for Javier Bardem as King Triton. As long as they do hair and makeup well, I feel like he can totally rock the role.
The rest of the cast…I’m pretty unsure of. Mainly because I barely know them. The leading lady, Halle Bailey, I honestly hadn’t even heard of until now.
I’m going to just have to trust Disney on this one and hope that it all is done flawlessly, because this is my favorite Disney Princess. Don’t let me down!
