You Can Get A House Plant With Leaves That Look Exactly Like A Watermelon
Watermelon plants do exist and no, I’m not referring to the plants that stem actual watermelons during the hot summer season.
Scientifically named the Peperomia Argyreia plant, aka the “watermelon” plant, shares a similar appearance with the watermelons you would find at your local grocery store.
The flowering plant grows leaves that look exactly like the watermelons mom or dad brings home on a summer evening; in fact, the leaves look so similar that it looks almost good enough to eat!
However, do not eat this plant folks.
Similar to a real watermelon, the leaves on this plant possess light green and dark green colors with deep green vertical stripes.
Taking care of the Peperomia Argyreia plant is simple, allow enough light for growth but ultimately this plant enjoys shade too, and don’t overwater.
