Former Bachelor Star Colton Underwood Has Come Out As Gay

Are you into The Bachelor and watch each season? Well, if so, you might remember Colton Underwood.

Colton was “The Bachelor” in Season 23, which aired in 2019.

Throughout the season he dated contestants ultimately dating contestant Cassie Randolph, who he eventually split from in May 2020.

And now he is coming forward to speak his truth and let the world know he is gay in a new interview with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts.

In the interview Colton talks about his sexuality, sharing, “I’m gay and I came to terms with that earlier this year.”

He continued:

“Obviously this year has been a lot for a lot of people and it’s probably made a lot of people look themselves in the mirror and figure out who they are and what they’ve been running from or what they’ve been putting off in their lives,” he said. “And for me, I’ve ran from myself for a long time, I’ve hated myself for a long time. I’m gay and I came to terms with that earlier this year and have been processing it.”

As you may remember, there was speculation surrounding Colton’s sexuality and many believed he was gay to which he denied at the time.

At least now he is happy and living his truth. As as long as he is happy, that is all that matters!
