‘Reindeer Bait’ Is This Year’s Hottest Holiday No-Bake Treat
Let’s just put aside the Gingerbread cookies and Christmas Bark for a minute and discuss a more unique holiday treat called “Reindeer Crack”, I mean, Reindeer Bait!
This holiday cookie is a combination of many sweet snacks and is a favorite sweet treat for Santa’s Reindeer when Rudolph and friends are parked outside your lawn on Christmas Eve night.
The best thing about this holiday cookie is that it’s a mixture between your all time favorite salty and sweet snacks. It’s crazy addictive for Reindeer and lets just say humans are obsessed with it too.
You can start by collecting your favorite sweet snacks such as M&M’s, marshmallows and candy canes. After you’ve picked your favorites you should also choose which salty snacks will pair well with the sweet ones.
Pretzels, nuts and chips are a good start.
Last but not least, don’t forget your Chex Mix, if there’s any ingredient that must stay, it should be this one.
After you’ve picked the chosen salty and sweet snacks, you’ll want to grab white chocolate melts and throw them in the microwave for 30 second increments until they are fully melted.
Mix the white chocolate syrup onto your baking tray of snacks and mix together until each crumb is coated and yes, I’m talking about those mini M&M’s.
Chill the entire mixture for about an hour until the Reindeer Bait has hardened and you’ve got yourself food for Blitzen, Clyde Comet, Cupid, Dancer, Dasher, Donner, Prancer, Rudolph, and Vixen.
Easy enough right? No baking and you’re basically throwing in all of your favorite snacks into a bowl and dousing it with white chocolate syrup.
Although I’m thinking of substituting the white chocolate for dark chocolate when I make my Reindeer Bait.
