Shoo flu! Don’t bother me!

So, on Friday I woke up with an achey back, a fever… and a scratchy throat. Oh yaaay. Flu time. I never get a flu shot, and most of the time I skip this fly madness, but not this year. I am way more worried about the daughter getting it though.
Is it too late to take her in and get her a flu shot if she has already been exposed? How does that even work? I should do more research before I just decide my kid doesn’t need a flu shot cause they creep me out, huh?
