There’s nothing quite like watching a movie up on the big screen, and by “big screen” I mean the theatre!

It’s simply the perfect setup, large recliners, double extra large sodas, hot popcorn with extra butter, and a screen so big it doesn’t matter where you sit.

So if you’re craving a movie day because the couch is too crowded at home, you should know that movie ticket prices are about to get a huge discount!

In celebration of National Cinema Day, movie theatres across the U.S., (3,000 to be exact), are partying big with lower ticket prices.

So rather than your nearly $20 ticket (and that’s without drinks and snacks), major movie theatres such as AMC and Regal are participating in the celebration and it’s all thanks to the Cinema Foundation.

The Cinema Foundation, which is a nonprofit organization sought out to bring back National Cinema Day for the second year in a row to get more people to watch movies at the theatres!

And let’s not forget about some of the smaller theatres who have also decided to join in on the party and offer discounted tickets!

Regal theatres have even decided to offer movie goers a special priced combo that includes a small popcorn and a soft drink for just four bucks; count me in!

So if you’re planning on snagging this insane deal, you’ll be happy to know that the movies included in the promotion are Barbie, Oppenheimer, The Little Mermaid Sing-Along, The Haunted Mansion, and more.

This Sunday on August 27, movie fanatics can see their favorites for just $4 a ticket depending on the theatre, and you can check out more information on the promotion, here.

All who are reserving this Sunday to the movie theatre, say “I”!
