Taco Bell sure knows how to get all of us excited.

The Bell has just done what Apple does every year… holding a large press conference to debut new software, expect in Taco Bell’s case, this meeting was all about savory and sweet foods rather than tech.

What was more like a professional party rather than a conference, Taco Bell has just announced a dozen new items that are coming to menus THIS. YEAR.

So if you thought Taco Bell’s menu was already great, things are about to get even better.

The Bell has given us a reason to order takeout for lunch everyday, considering the taco giant has just introduced a slew of new menu items, and test market foods that have now made nationwide status!

So if you’re currently reading this on an empty stomach, here’s your warning that your stomach may grumble.

Remember when mom always said that eating dessert before dinner would ruin your appetite? Well we’re adults now, which means eating ice cream for dinner is a must.

Taco Bell’s Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato is making its first appearance at all Taco Bell chains this year, and if you haven’t heard of the soda flavored dessert, let me fill you in.

The Mountain Dew Baja Blast Gelato lives up to its name, considering this new sweet treat is infused with Mountain Dew Baja Blast with a bold taste of tropical lime, in a creamy texture.

Why Mountain Dew Baja Blast flavored gelato? The chain figured, since the drink’s 20th birthday is approaching soon, why not celebrate with ice cream that tastes exactly like the carbonated drink?

Now that’s a birthday celebration I want go too, but the Baja Blast gelato isn’t the only new dessert coming to menus.

Enter, the Dulce de Leche Cinnabon Delights.

Go ahead, read that again.

Now after reading that sentence twice, you should also know that Taco Bell is welcoming several new savory options because even a nagging sweet tooth needs a break too.

First up, are the Crispy Chicken Nuggets.

That’s right, move over McDonald’s, because you’ve got some competition.

Just after the chicken sandwich wars have died down between fast food chains, Taco Bell has created Crispy Chicken Nuggets that will surely start another war, except this time over nuggets.

Emphasis on the word crispy, Taco Bell’s take on chicken nuggets includes all-white chicken meat that’s marinated in spicy jalapeño buttermilk, breaded, and then fried.

Now that’s how you do chicken nuggets!

Taco Bell’s Crispy Chicken Nuggets also come paired with two sauces to choose from, which may very well be the hardest decision you ever make in the drive-thru lane.

Your choices, are the Bell sauce, which is a concoction made with tomatoes, red chiles, onion, and garlic, or the Jalapeño Honey Mustard which are both excellent choices.

Although when it comes to ordering Taco Bell’s new Cheesy Street Chalupas, that’s a decision made to be simple.

Featuring a cheesy flatbread and a small tortilla with a blend of mozzarella and pepper jack cheeses fried together, the chalupa is then stuffed with either slow-roasted chicken or marinated grilled steak.

Finished with a “flavorful” sauce and topped with a layer of diced onions and cilantro, we have a feeling that these chalupas will make the drive-thru lanes a frenzy!

Now I want you to think back to the time when Taco Bell released the Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco, remember that item?

Well, the chain has decided to bring back the famous Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco but with a twist.

This enchilada version of the Grilled Cheese Dipping Taco features slow-roasted chicken with a layered enchilada dipping sauce.

And speaking of cheese, there’s also the new Cheesy Chicken Crispanada, which features a crispy outer shell made from a delicate pastry dough that’s stuffed with shredded chicken and a melted three-cheese blend.

Lastly, the iconic Cheez-It Crunchwrap which was once a test menu item only and is 16 times bigger compared to the normal size Cheez-It, will now be released nationwide to all Taco Bell chains!

Okay okay, we’ll stop torturing your grumbling stomach which I’m sure is speaking to you by now.

But hey, the good news is that Taco Bell has already released one of these new items to menus; so say hello to the Cheesy Chicken Crispanada.
