It Is Official – Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza Is Returning This Year
Thanks to the overwhelming outcries from social media, Taco Bell is bringing back their Mexican Pizza!!
YES! The beloved crispy layered pizza stuffed with refried beans and beef, topped with cheese, pizza sauce, and tomatoes is finally coming back!
Now while we don’t know (yet), if the Mexican Pizza is here to stay permanently, confirmation of its return is truly a Christmas miracle.
The Taco Bell Mexican Pizza was originally launched in 1984 and was a staple menu item for decades.
When Did Taco Bell Get Rid of The Mexican Pizza?
In 2020 Taco Bell removed their mexican pizza from menus upsetting customers across the nation. People created a petition in which 166,000 of them signed a petition lobbying for its return!
Is The Taco Bell Mexican Pizza Coming Back?
YES! Thanks to food blogger @markie_devo who confirmed the return on social media, Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza is returning in the year of 2022.
So When Is the Famous Mexican Pizza Returning to Menus?
Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza can be expected to return next year in March or April of 2022!
So while there is a little bit of a wait, the anticipation is real am I right?
We’re preparing for long drive-thru lines the day the Mexican Pizza is finally released once again!

If you are expecting long lines for the Mexican pizza because of the demand then why did you take it off the menu in the first place? And you took it off fast enough so why is it going to take so long to put it back on? I love your Mexican pizzas!! Now when are you going to bring back the Meximelts?? Those are also a Big Favorite!!!😁
@Kathee, I don’t understand either. Something so popular u just wipe it out. Makes no sense. And they know how to make it. So what a couple days to get it back on the menu? And the same with meximelts. And I’m guessing the price will also increase🤭

There is a god and not only heard my prayers but answered them and brought back the Mexican pizza. This truly is a miracle of divine intervention

And you knows that people loved Taco Bell Mexican pizzas lot, specially Indian peoples loves Mexican pizzas. Your business is most likely going on because of the Indian population and you also realize that too, you must have your business went down that’s why you r bringing back Mexican pizza, so now please keep it on to your menu for forever.
Also please give enough hot sauces too because without hot sauce you can’t enjoy Mexican pizza. Or you can sale all your sauces to the customers.

As a taco bell employee it makes me not happy because it is one of the most annoying items to make. Also there is almost no items that are permanent. If an item has not been on the menu for more than a couple months it is an LTO or limited time offer. The same is true for 99 percent of items added to the menu including the Mexican pizza. It’s just taco Bell’s marketing strategy.
@Isaiah, then quit fast food it’s literally one of the easiest items to make on the menu ever.. Get faster quit complaining

@Rod, ask for a crunchy taco (regular or supreme) with a side of beans and a side of tortilla and ask for them to put the beans in between the tortilla and the hard shell. If they know what you’re talking about, they should make it for you.
@M, not the same at all lol. The flour shells where deep fried and the sauce that went on them they no longer have unfortunately 🥴. I worked there for many years. I make them at home but they never taste the same because the sauce is never right.
