As we all know, a fifthToy Story film was announced nearly 10 months ago, and if you’re wondering what the new story line will look like, Tim Allen has an idea!

While Disney has yet to share the climax of Toy Story 5, Tim Allen, the voice of Buzz Lightyear, recently explained his idea on what he thinks the fifth movie should center around.

In a recent interview with The Movie Dweeb, Tim Allen shared his thoughts on what Toy Story 5 should focus on.

During the interview, Dan Merrifield asked Tim if he could spill any details on Toy Story 5 (because we’re all itching to know), and what he thinks Buzz Lightyear should be up too in the fifth installment

And his response, included Andy as an adult.

“What if the whole story was through Andy as an adult, has children, and they just happen to be online and the kid goes ‘have you ever seen this toy?’ and Andy sees that Buzz has got a hand missing – and they’re selling these vintage toys,” Tim Allen told The Movie Dweeb.

He continued to pitch,

“And Andy goes and gathers all the toys up, he has to go and find each one of them, put them back together, bring them back to his house and start the whole thing over again with his son,” he explained to The Movie Dweeb.

Clever right? We think we can get behind this storyline.

Now while Toy Story 5 does not yet have a release date, we have our fingers (and toes) crossed for a Christmas miracle in hopes that Disney, will have an announcement soon.
