The latest news on Walmart has that feel good type of vibe, so here is some uplifting news to start your day!

Walmart isn’t going to be just a shopping center anymore, the retail store recently announced the addition of breastfeeding pods called Mamavas.

Frankly, I think Walmart is incredibly thoughtful to add these pods for breastfeeding mothers and here’s why!

Mamava pods gives the opportunity for mothers to breastfeed or pump in privacy and in a clean space.

Thanks to Walmart associate Tennille Webb, who discovered Mamava pods while traveling, she pushed to include these pods at Walmart locations!

“When I discovered and used the Mamava pod that first time, it was a game-changer for me, and I knew it would be a great option that gives my fellow Walmart associates and our customers another choice in their breastfeeding journey,” said Webb.

“I’m honored to see that my idea has come to reality in our stores. It’s teaching my son how one person can make a big difference.”

It’s a genius idea if you ask me and they’re also free to use! One of the neat things about Mamava pods, is that you can find their locations with their app.

The app also allows mothers to adjust settings in the pod itself such as lighting, airflow and sound. So it’s basically like a customized spa for moms!

The company even mentioned that moms can leave uplifting and digitalized notes for other mothers to give out encouragement, because we are all about women empowerment!

“We started Mamava to ensure that every breastfeeding mother could choose whether or not to breastfeed, so we set out to remove all barriers to making that choice,” Mamava’s CEO and co-founder Sascha Mayer said.

“Walmart’s commitment to supporting breastfeeding associates and community members with Mamava pods is a huge leap forward for inclusivity and normalizing breastfeeding culture.”

So far, the Mamava pods were tested at three Walmart locations and will now be available to the public in 100 other locations by the end of the year, said the retail store.

According to Walmart, the Mamava pods will be setup in stores for mothers to use soon.
