And if you ordered from Amazon last year, you may remember they did this same thing last holiday season!
And in return for thanking them, Amazon will give your delivery driver $5 at no cost to you!! It’s basically a tip for being an awesome delivery driver.
I can’t think of a better way to thank our overworked delivery drivers than with a little bit of extra holiday cash, can you?
I mean, I do leave out all sorts of snacks to thank my delivery drivers but still, I bet $5 is even better!
How to Thank Your Amazon Delivery Driver and Give Them $5
All you need to do is, after receiving your Amazon order, say “Alexa, thank my delivery driver”.
That’s it!
The best part is, this $5 incentive is at no cost to you.
The holiday driver promotion is back! Amazon customers will be able to show some extra appreciation for their delivery drivers again this holiday season with the “Alexa, Thank My Driver” feature. Starting on December 12, customers can say “Alexa, thank my driver” or search “thank my driver” on Amazon.com or the mobile shopping app. The driver who completed the customer’s most-recent delivery will be notified of their appreciation. The first 2 million “thank yous” will also send $5 to the driver, at no cost to the customer.
