It’s officially wedding season, and to celebrate, Netflix has a new rom/com on the way that’s all about the craziness that comes with weddings.

And if you’ve ever been in a wedding or had one yourself, you know how chaotic the celebratory day can be.

In Netflix’s new movie, this wedding film doesn’t encapsulate your typical wedding problems.

While most people might find something wrong with the dress or the seating chart, or maybe the flowers are late to arrive, this new movie focuses on a much bigger problem.

Brooke Shields and Miranda Cosgrove are mother and daughter in Netflix’s new film.

Emma, Lana’s daughter played by (Miranda Cosgrove), drops a bombshell after returning home from abroad when she tells her mother (Brooke Shields), that she plans to get married in Thailand in exactly one month!

Not exactly a lot of time to coordinate a wedding right?

And if that wasn’t already stressful enough, Emma’s wedding is awkwardly turned upside down when she finds out that her soon-to-be father-in-law is actually her mother’s ex!

Now how do you figure that seating chart?

Of course you can already imagine that Lana hasn’t exactly gotten over her ex just yet, and it also looks like the man who broke her heart, regrets his decision.

But of course this wouldn’t be a classic rom/com without a little bit of competition for someone’s else’s heart.

During the trailer, we see another character fighting for Lana’s heart which leaves Lana, at a fork in the road.
