Amber Heard Found Guilty, Ordered to Pay Johnny Depp $15 Million Dollars in Defamation Case
Today marks the end of the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation case.
In 2019, Johnny Depp filed a lawsuit to sue Amber Heard for $15 million in damages and denies ever being physically violent with Amber Heard.
This was filed after Amber Heard had released an Op-Ed for The Washington Post in 2018 alleging she was a survivor of abuse.
Amber Heard then began countersuing for $100 million and claims she was only ever violent with Johnny Depp in self-defense or defense of her younger sister.
The trial began six weeks ago and after dozens of testimonies, hundreds of hours and dozens of articles of evidence, it is all finally over.
The 7-person jury was able to deliberate all afternoon on Friday, all day Tuesday and into the afternoon on Wednesday, in Fairfax County.
They had the task of deciding two verdicts at once as they deliberated over both Depp and Heard’s defamation claims.
Who won the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial?
On Wednesday, June 1, 2022, the jury found Amber Heard guilty and was ordered to pay Johnny Depp $15 million in the defamation case.
The decision was unanimous.
The jury also found Amber Heard’s countersuit as false on many counts.
They did award her $2 million dollars.
I truly hope that this helps Johnny Depp move on with his life and reclaim his name after Amber tried to destroy his life.
Fans of Johnny knew all along that he wasn’t the abuser and monster that Amber painted him out to be.
We are here for you Johnny and we love you!!
